With a desire to bring more young people into the local manufacturing industry, the Monroe-Union County Manufacturing Awareness Campaign (MUCMAC) tapped Lyerly Agency as its resource for a research-based marketing approach to change manufacturing perceptions and create a pipeline of students for jobs in Union County, N.C. Lyerly conducted focus groups and the results were used to develop a cool brand that educates and piques interest in manufacturing careers. From the research, LA created the name of the comprehensive campaign “Make It In Union County” and the tagline “The smart alternative for high-tech careers.” These branding aspects sparked a full campaign aimed toward increasing manufacturing career awareness among students, parents, educators and the community.
Lyerly Agency developed a unique logo and used it along with an associated color palette within a variety of marketing materials, including brochures and informational cards. The agency also spearheaded development of a colorful, educational, engaging website for the project.
