(8/20/15) BELMONT, N.C. – Lyerly Agency welcomes Susan Jones to the position of Executive Assistant. Executive Vice President and COO Melia Lyerly recently announced the new addition to the team.
As part of her extensive background, Jones has provided administrative support in a variety of industries all around the east coast over 30 years. Her previous experience included performing general office practices for a courier and distribution company in the Charlotte area. Jones’ professional proficiency is not limited to assisting and maintaining office functions; she also has knowledge in human resources, which she greatly enjoys.
Jones fulfills her responsibilities as Executive Assistant with Lyerly Agency by enhancing office efficiency and organization through numerous clerical tasks – all while supporting the CEO, COO and their clients.

Jones, originally from Yonkers, N.Y., is a graduate of The Westchester Business Institute where she completed its intensive secretarial program in 1978. She currently resides in Belmont with her husband, Greg. Jones has a daughter, Amy, who lives in Killen, Ala., and a son, Cody, who is a resident of Myrtle Beach, S.C.
